Updated Myspace

Hey!

I spent some time today updating the myspace. I had to migrate it over to a new version of the profile. I must say, it is quite awesome. Drag and drop areas and a great html widget that should allow us to put in some nifty stuff down the line.

Just wanted to let everyone know. Hit us up with questions about shows and contributing to our page.

Keep it Brutal,

Chris

Slave to The Metal Tour

***UPDATED***

Since you last read this I have some awesome news! Thanks to the hard work and clever digital presence, we have been able to sell over 55 tickets so far! That puts us only 25 away from our goal of 80! This is the last stretch! Dig deep peeps!

****************

So, good news, bad news situation. First the good news:

We have been chosen to play the Slave to the Metal Tour! This is a national tour put on by some awesome folks including Mistress Juliya from Fuse TV. There will be sponsorship opportunities as well as representation there from major record labels.

The bad news:(don’t worry, you can help)

We need to sell tickets. To be more precise, we need to sell 80. We have sold 30 already, so we are almost halfway there. Now, here is where you come in. You can either visit this site and purchase the tickets:

Photo shoot!

Today we shot some promo shots for our up coming EP, “Gutter Profit.” Thanks to Chris Pichado for getting the shots. Check out more of Chris’ work at http://www.pichadophotography.com

The day was quite interesting. We chose a spot in downtown San Antonio right off of Broadway near the Alamo. We were looking for a real dirty, grungy type setting were we could set the mood. Our up-coming EP is going to be called “Gutter Profit.” The spot we chose definitely fit that.

After unloading all of the gear, we began to try a couple of shots. Steve was dressed in a suit and the rest of us in our normal garb. We wanted Steve to get in the suit because: a.) he owned one and b.)he was the tallest. We wanted to portray a business man that has been convinced by a homeless fellow that his life in the normal business world was corrupt and the only way he could make it right was to rid the street of the vermin that poison it. That is were the rest of us came in.

We will do a post later to describe the EP better.

Anyways, we only had a single injury throughout the whole day. Kevin’s phone was crushed into oblivion when posing for a shot. We don’t know how it happened but needless to say, Kevin was crying.

So all and all it was a good day and we should have some pics posted up in the next couple of weeks. After that we will have some concept work for everyone to check out and give us some feedback.

Stay tuned!
